Understanding Payouts

As an Agent Creator on Agently, you earn revenue whenever users interact with your agents. This guide explains the entire payout process, from earning revenue to receiving funds in your bank account.

How You Earn

For every successful, charged interaction with your agent, a percentage of the credits spent by the user is converted into a USD balance that becomes available for payout to you.

• Platform Fee: Agently retains a 30% platform fee on all transactions. This fee covers the costs of platform operation, hosting, transaction processing, and continued development.
• Your Share: You receive 70% of the revenue from credits spent on your agent.
• Conversion Rate: The revenue share is calculated based on a conversion rate of 500 credits = $1.00 USD.

This revenue automatically accumulates in your Available Payout Balance, which you can view on your Payouts page.

Payout Requirements

To receive payouts, you must have a Stripe Express account connected to the Agently platform.

1. Navigate to the Payouts Page: Go to your Payouts settings in your Agently account dashboard.
2. Connect with Stripe: Click the "Connect with Stripe" button. You will be redirected to Stripe to either create a new Express account or link an existing one. Stripe's secure onboarding process will ask for standard information, such as your business details and banking information for deposits.
3. Complete Onboarding: Once you complete the Stripe onboarding process, you will be redirected back to Agently. Your account is now ready to receive automated payouts.

You are responsible for ensuring your Stripe account information is accurate and up-to-date.

Payout Schedule & Process

Payouts are processed automatically on a weekly basis.

• Eligibility: To be included in a weekly payout run, you must meet two conditions:
  1. Your Available Payout Balance must be $5.00 USD or greater.
  2. You must have a valid, fully-onboarded Stripe Express account connected.
• Process:
  1. Every week, our system automatically identifies all eligible creators.
  2. For each eligible creator, a transfer is initiated via Stripe for the full amount of their available_payout_balance.
  3. The funds are sent from Agently's Stripe account to your connected Stripe Express account.
• Status: Once a payout is initiated, the corresponding amount is deducted from your Available Payout Balance on Agently, and the transaction will appear in your Payout History with an in_transit status. When the funds arrive in your Stripe account (typically within a few business days), the status will update to paid.

You can also request a manual payout at any time from the Payouts page, provided you meet the minimum balance requirement of $0.50 USD for a manual transfer.

Viewing Payout History

The Payouts page on the Agently platform provides a complete history of all your past and pending payouts, including dates, amounts, and current statuses. For more detailed transaction information, you can log in to your Stripe Express dashboard.
